When I’m not reading through the Bible in 90 Days<\/a>, I use this reading plan<\/a> to keep me in the Word daily.<\/em><\/p>\n

Today’s Reading: <\/strong>2 Timothy 1-4<\/p>\n

Here’s what I heard today using SOAP<\/a>:<\/p>\n

Scripture: 2 Timothy 1:14<\/strong><\/p>\n

Guard the good deposit that was entrusted to you– guard it with the help of the Holy Spirit who lives in us.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Observation:<\/strong><\/p>\n

Don’t fall away from the Lord or lose your path. Instead, watch out and call on the Lord to help your faith and service stay strong.<\/p>\n

Application:<\/strong><\/p>\n

I am being pulled in a few more directions than usual. Fortunately, most of the ways I am being pulled are good things with the potential for great outcomes.<\/p>\n

In all the tugging, I need to be sure that I keep my focus on the Lord and listen to His leading. I need to always keep Him first and guard that. I’m sure my focus will be tested with distractions. But if I seek Him first, He will give to me the desires of my heart and all that I need… in part because in seeking Him first and seeking Him honestly, my desires will be in the proper alignment.<\/p>\n

Prayer:<\/strong><\/p>\n

Lord, you know what is going on with me. You know where I am being pulled and stretched and what I should do.<\/p>\n

Please strengthen me in the places I need it. Please soften me in the places I need it. And please, Lord, help me to stand guard over the deposit of love you have entrusted to me. I want to be your servant. I never want to falter.<\/p>\n

Thank you,\u00a0 Lord, for choosing me to be your daughter. Thank you for allowing me to be your servant. Both are certainly a lot of fun and a great adventure!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
