My brother was a Boy Scout. I was a Girl Scout and my mom was our Brownie leader.<\/p>\n<p>I took for granted that this day would come.<\/p>\n<p>Walking into the the store I was greeted a by a smiling helper, who showed me what I needed to buy and offered advice here and there.<\/p>\n<p>And I teared up when she handed me my little Tiger Cub Scout&#8217;s shirt. And I&#8217;m tearing up now as I type.<\/p>\n<p>I had no idea this would be so special, but it is. He&#8217;s growing up. And he&#8217;s doing things my family has done for years. I loved scouting. And I think it stands for so many genuine, true and good things. I am so excited that he has begun this chapter.
