{"id":703,"date":"2008-09-27T09:00:21","date_gmt":"2008-09-27T14:00:21","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.momstoolbox.com\/blog\/?p=703"},"modified":"2010-08-07T12:01:46","modified_gmt":"2010-08-07T17:01:46","slug":"give-careful-thought-to-your-ways","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.momstoolbox.com\/blog\/give-careful-thought-to-your-ways\/","title":{"rendered":"Give careful thought to your ways"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Scripture: Haggai 1:7<\/strong><\/p>\n<blockquote><p>This is what the Lord Almighty says: &#8220;Give careful thought to your ways.&#8217;<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><strong>Observation:<\/strong> God wants us to think about what we do and be intentional in our actions.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Application:<\/strong> It is easy for me to get pulled in so many different directions by all the things that &#8220;need&#8221; to be done. Rather than be pulled by all sorts of people and institutions, I really should pray about my days and my time and allow God to set my priorities. Is what I am doing serving Him or serving the world? If I say He is first in my life, then how can my actions and use of time back that up?<\/p>\n<p><strong>Prayer:<\/strong> Heavenly Father, thank you for this reminder to order my days, time and efforts in a way that honors you. Please continue to remind me to consult you in making my priority lists rather than following worldly instruction.
