{"id":705,"date":"2008-09-28T20:34:15","date_gmt":"2008-09-29T01:34:15","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.momstoolbox.com\/blog\/?p=705"},"modified":"2012-01-07T12:28:20","modified_gmt":"2012-01-07T18:28:20","slug":"menu-plan-monday-sept-29-oct-5","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.momstoolbox.com\/blog\/menu-plan-monday-sept-29-oct-5\/","title":{"rendered":"Menu Plan Monday Sept 29-Oct 5"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Here&#8217;s what the 144 family will be dining on this week:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Monday<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Breakfast- scrambled egg whites with cheese, smoothies (OJ, frozen berries, oatmeal)<\/p>\n<p>Dinner&#8211; Salmon, corn, spinach, cornbread<\/p>\n<p>** make applebutter for protein bars, meat loaves for Wednesday<\/p>\n<p><strong>Tuesday<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Breakfast-cereal, yogurt<\/p>\n<p>Dinner- edamame, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.eatcleandiet.com\/Default.aspx?page=44\" target=\"_blank\">Roast Stuffed Pork Tenderloin<\/a>, baked sweet potatoes, applesauce<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Wednesday<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Breakfast- Oatmeal<\/p>\n<p>Kid dinner: \u00a0individual meat loaves (use mini loaf pans), cut fruit<\/p>\n<p><strong>Thursday<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Breakfast- Protein Bars and fruit<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u00a0Applesauce Spice Protein Bars<\/p>\n<p>1c whey protein powder<\/p>\n<p>\u00bd c spelt four<\/p>\n<p>2c rolled oats (not instant)<\/p>\n<p>\u00bd c oat bran<\/p>\n<p>\u00bd c ground flax seed<\/p>\n<p>1 tsp sea salt<\/p>\n<p>1 tsp ground cinnamon<\/p>\n<p>\u00bd tsp allspice<\/p>\n<p>\u00bc tsp ground nutmeg<\/p>\n<p>\u00bc tsp ground black pepper<\/p>\n<p>\u00bc c apple butter<\/p>\n<p>\u00bc cup agave nectar<\/p>\n<p>1 \u00bd c unsweetened applesauce<\/p>\n<p>\u00bc c safflower oil<\/p>\n<p>1 Tbsp vanilla<\/p>\n<ol type=\"1\">\n<li>Preheat oven to 325.<\/li>\n<li>Combine all dry ingredients in a large mixing bowl and mix well.<\/li>\n<li>Beat wet ingredients in medium-sized bowl until well blended.<\/li>\n<li>combine wet and dry ingredients. Mix until well blended.<\/li>\n<li>Place mixture into 13 x 9 pan and smooth evenly.<\/li>\n<li>Bake 20-25 minutes or until golden on top and firm in middle<\/li>\n<li>Slice into 18 bars when cool.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Dinner-Caesar salad, turkey sausage, spicy red sauce and pasta, cut fruit, breadsticks<\/p>\n<p><strong>Friday<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Breakfast-Chocolate chip pancakes<\/p>\n<p>Kid dinner-Pick your leftover night<\/p>\n<p><strong>Saturday<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Breakfast-Waffles, fruit<\/p>\n<p>Dinner-shrimp and chicken tacos, Mexican rice, black beans<\/p>\n<p><strong>Sunday <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Breakfast&#8211; Banana bread<\/p>\n<p>Dinner- whole chicken in crockpot<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Looking for more meal-planning ideas?
