The reading for Friday <\/strong>is Luke 4<\/strong> <\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Here is what I heard:
\nScripture: Luke 4:43<\/strong><\/p>\n

But he said “I must preach the good news of the kingdom of God to the other towns also because that is why I was sent.”<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Observation:<\/strong>
\nJesus knew why He had come to the earth and what He was sent to do.<\/p>\n

He was focused and not distracted.<\/p>\n

Application:<\/strong><\/p>\n

I allow myself to get so distracted.<\/p>\n

How can I stop that?<\/p>\n

I realize I am not Jesus, or anywhere near Him, but I still want to be more focused on what He intends for me to do.<\/p>\n

Prayer:<\/strong><\/p>\n

I want to do so much– but is that because I am still searching for why I was sent?<\/p>\n

Forgive me, Lord, when I wander and seek approval in places I should not.<\/p>\n

Help me to focus better on you and hear your direction and guidance.<\/p>\n

I want to know why I was sent. I want to do what you designed me to do. Help me to find that, focus on that and stop allowing myself to be distracted.<\/p>\n

This is such a common refrain for me. Help me to reach your answer and pursue that.<\/p>\n
