The reading for Sunday is Luke Chapter 18<\/strong><\/strong>.<\/p>\n Luke 18: 1 “Now He was telling them a parable to show that at all times they ought to pray and not to lose heart.”<\/p><\/blockquote>\n Jesus wanted to remind them to continue praying and not give up. It must have been easy to take God’s silence as rejection.<\/p>\n I should continue to pray and not become discouraged when I do not see an immediate answer to my prayers. This is particularly difficult when a situation seems desperate. Jesus knew this. He still knows.<\/p>\n Dear Lord, Thank you for hearing our prayers. Thank you for encouraging us through your word. Help us to not lose heart during periods of stress.<\/p>\n Connie is a Christian, homeschooling mom of 8 rowdy children.
