I swam laps at the Y for 30 minutes and then went to a Weight Watchers meeting. And I was pleasantly surprised that I had only gained 1\/2 pound in the 4 weeks I was away. Of course I would have preferred to have lost, but that brings me to why I write this post&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>About\u00a07 weeks ago I decided that enough was enough and the scale had crept a little (lot) higher than my comfort zone allowed. I had been a member of Weight Watchers since baby number 2 was 15 months, and the program worked for me. It helped me lose again after baby number 3.<\/p>\n<p>But as I <a href=\"http:\/\/www.momstoolbox.com\/blog\/watching-my-weight-again\/\" target=\"_self\">explained,<\/a>\u00a07 weeks ago I was determined to drop 10 pounds. And I would be well on my way, and maybe even finished, had I kept to the program. But a flood, or can I say, hurricane, of excuses blew over me. And I stopped keeping track. And I started mindlessly snacking. And I stopped making progress.<\/p>\n<p>Well that chapter is over and it&#8217;s time to get this taken care of! I&#8217;m back&#8230; with a vengeance!<\/p>\n<p>So here&#8217;s the blogging part of the plan:<\/p>\n<p>As I post my <a href=\"http:\/\/www.momstoolbox.com\/blog\/what-are-we-eating-oct-13-19\/\">menu plan<\/a> each week on Mondays, I will include or link to a few healthy-eating recipes and list Weight Watcher points values as I can. I will also try to include snack ideas each week to keep the bad munchies from taking control.<\/p>\n<p>Every Wednesday from here on out is going to be <strong><em>Weight Watching Wednesday<\/em><\/strong> at MomsToolbox. I&#8217;m going to share my progress each week and also share a few things that are helping me lose (for awhile) and then maintain (after I&#8217;ve hit that goal).
