{"id":916,"date":"2008-10-28T06:42:22","date_gmt":"2008-10-28T11:42:22","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.momstoolbox.com\/blog\/?p=916"},"modified":"2008-10-28T06:42:22","modified_gmt":"2008-10-28T11:42:22","slug":"get-up-and-meet-with-him","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.momstoolbox.com\/blog\/get-up-and-meet-with-him\/","title":{"rendered":"Get up and meet with Him"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Scripture: Mark1:35<\/strong><\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Very early in the morning, while it was still dark, Jesus got up, left the house and went off to a solitary place, where he prayed.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><strong>Observation:<\/strong> Jesus was sure to rise early, get away from others and pray where he could in peace.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Application:<\/strong> It has become more difficult for me to fit in my reading and SOAP time. Although I am feeling so tired and overwhelmed lately, I need to rise before everyone else and begin my devotional time. He will give me the energy I need if I follow his example.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Prayer:<\/strong> Heavenly Father, thank you for this reminder to get up early, retreat to a private spot and meet with you. Just this morning I am rushing to type my words, and trying to ignore the sounds around me.
