But before I hop in the shower I thought I would share.<\/p>\n<p>Last week I shared some simple <a href=\"http:\/\/www.momstoolbox.com\/blog\/just-say-no-to-muffin-top\/\">ab exercises<\/a>, with the intention of getting back on track and doing them every night. Well, I got an F there.. I missed three out of seven nights.<\/p>\n<p>And after the first night I was so excited and proud of myself&#8230; and sore even in my thighs the next morning. (I could use a little soreness there, too.) So this week I&#8217;m not going to try to be more committed. I just WILL be more committed. And report back to you next week that\u00a0I earned a 100%.<\/p>\n<p>So. Back to the tired and smelly thing:<\/p>\n<p>This morning I went for a fantastic 38 mile bicycle ride, averaging 16 mph!\u00a0Last winter and spring I was on my bike a LOT, training for the MS 150 in April. Since that ride, it&#8217;s been tough to carve out the time to ride much. I think I&#8217;ve only been on a bike 6 times since then. (yikes.)<\/p>\n<p>I have a few cycling buddies and, in the past we would meet up with some much faster riders and ride on our own. Today I was able to stick with the fast crowd for 17 miles! I even rode in a paceline for the very first time, which was really exciting and not as scary as I had expected, once I got the hang of it. Everyone was really nice and encouraging, so it was a fantastic experience.<\/p>\n<p>I did begin to lose steam and my dear friend pulled back so we could go a little slower and I could catch my breath. We took a shortcut and met back up with the group later. I attempted to jump back in the line and I lasted another three miles my second go &#8217;round&#8230; I was losing my breath again.<\/p>\n<p>I was so escited to try out the paceline and encouraged that\u00a0I hung in there as long as I did. At the beginning of the ride I prayed that I would be encouraged and I certainly was. It was a lot of fun. And it also showed me I need to put some cycling back on the scehdule soon. I love it, And I love what it does for me physically and spiritually.<\/p>\n<p>My tip for the week?
