If you are reading the Proverbs in 31 Days with me, today (Tuesday) we are reading Proverbs Chapter 9. Here\u2019s what I heard:<\/p>\n

\u00a0Scripture: Proverbs 9:6<\/h2>\n

Leave your simple ways and you will live;<\/p>\n

walk in the way of understanding.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Observation:<\/h2>\n

It is time to move into a deeper understanding of Me.<\/p>\n

Application:<\/h2>\n

Hmm.<\/p>\n

At first I thought another verse was jumping out at me, one that said to choose to gain wisdom, but after thinking about this all day and coming back to it, I think that God is telling me that it is time for me to delve deeper. It is time for me to gain a deeper understanding.<\/p>\n

It is time for me to leave my simple understanding and move on up.<\/p>\n

Gulp.<\/p>\n

How exciting, refreshing and, I\u2019ll admit, a little scary.<\/p>\n

I think God wants me to \u2018get\u2019 how much of a battlefield the earth is.<\/p>\n

Satan is attacking in so many ways.<\/p>\n

I need to protect my time with the Lord and delve deeper to see what is really happening around me and to me.<\/p>\n

Prayer:<\/h2>\n

Lord, I keep seeing evidence of spiritual warfare all around me.<\/p>\n

I want to gird myself with your truth, the truth, and be prepared in the ways you want me to be.<\/p>\n

Please, Lord, guide me in diving in deeper. Guide me in seeing and understanding what it is you want to reveal to me.<\/p>\n

Thank you for your love of me. Thank you for your trust in me. And thank you for wanting me to draw closer.<\/p>\n

I want to leave my simple ways. I want to walk in the way of understanding.<\/p>\n
