21 Days to Calm: Day 4

READ:

Day 4: Matthew 6:34

Therefore, do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.

WRITE:

Take time to write the verse out on paper. (I have a PDF of today’s verse and practice you can use linked to here. Feel free to download it. Or use your own journal or even a scrap of paper. Just write it down.

REFLECT:

Our Father understands that we live in a broken world with stressful situations. He also knows that worry can compound as we look into the future.

PRACTICE:

His instruction here is to reduce overwhelm by considering our challenges day by day. If you are feeling overwhelmed by worry about the future, pause and do your best to release it to Him. Identify what is for today and what is for the future, and then determine next steps.

I hope this helps you to center your mind and heart on beauty, and not anxious thoughts. If you think this might help a friend, please share it. If it helped you, please let me know.
