Seeking grump slump advice from the more experienced moms…
This afternoon and evening have not been the most joyful. I do love my family and have a lot to be thankful for, but, ugh, today still held more frustrations than I would have preferred. Since I know that there are a lot of MomsToolbox and Bible in 90 Days readers out there who have…

#B90Days roll call: Please sound off!
Last night during the Bible in 90 Days twitter party I asked each participant to tweet back whether they were a first time reader, repeat reader, mentor, graduate or a combination of any of those descriptors. It was a blast to see so many chime in and the encouragement that followed. Since not everyone tweets…

How will the school year impact your study time? Or will it?
Can you believe that summer is almost coming to an end? It seems I say this every year, and every year summer flies by faster and faster. Our summer weeks have been consumed with a lot of travel. And a lot of juggling. In June the kids and I explored Boston together for a few…

Please pray for the Berry children… and my friend Jen
It’s not often that I use MomsToolbox to ask others to support something. But this I feel compelled to do. A few weeks ago I texted a dear friend of mine a short, playful message. She responded that so much was going on in her life. Fortunately, I couldn’t even imagine the pain she had…

Are you ready to give up?
I don’t know about you, but it has been a challenging 17 days for me of the Bible in 90 Days. I have felt Satan whispering in my ear, reminding me of how not perfect I am and telling me how I am not fit to lead this group of readers. “What have I gotten…

Can extended family impact a child’s faith? My Mamu sure did!
As I was growing up, I was fortunate enough to know my great-grandmother, my mom’s, mom’s mom. Mamu, as she was called, was a kind, loving woman who I remember as being calming and joyful. Whether it is true or not, my memories of her always bring pictures of a small woman who was always…

Is your check in comment missing?
Yesterday I made the switch to use Disqus for our commenting system on MomsToolbox. In making the switch, all of the comments had to be exported, processed and sent back to MomsToolbox. The processing has hit more speedbumps than I expected and, unfortunately, many of the check in comments from Monday are not showing up…

I loved reading your tips, hearing about why you are reading and more. Let’s not let this tecnical glitch stop us!! Leave a comment telling us how you will…

Blogging Through the Gospels: Reflection
Yesterday we finished reading, SOAPing and, for many of you, Blogging Through the Gospels. Today, I would like to encourage you to flip or click back through your SOAP observations and see what you heard and learned over the last three months. I have really enjoyed my time in the Word with God and I…

Easier mealtimes help you during busier times
Guest post from Bible in 90 Days Grad Jessica Fisher Like most moms, my days are pretty full. And yet there are seasons when I want or need to add something more to an already full plate. Since there are only 24 hours in a day, I’ve finally admitted to myself that something’s gotta give.…

Blogging Through the Gospels: Jesus did much more than we even know
The reading for Saturday is John Chapter 21 . Here is what I heard: Scripture: John 21:25 Jesus did many other things as well. If every one of them were written down, I suppose that even the whole world would not have room for the books that would be written. Observation: Jesus did much more…

Why should you read the Bible in 90 days?
Guest post by Bible in 90 Days grad and mentor, Daenel. For me, it was a journey of self discovery, spiritual growth and connecting to God. I grew up in the church (both my parents are preachers), so I thought I knew the Bible. I’d read it during church services, I’d even read it as…
