Today our reading is Luke 1:39-80 and tomorrow we will read Luke 2.<\/div>\n<div>Here is what I heard using the<a href=\"http:\/\/www.momstoolbox.com\/blog\/what-is-soap\/\" target=\"_blank\"> SOAP devotional<\/a> format:<\/div>\n<h2>Scripture: Luke 1:45<\/h2>\n<blockquote>\n<div>And blessed is she who believed that there would be a fulfillment of what was spoken to her from the Lord.<\/div>\n<\/blockquote>\n<h2>Observation:<\/h2>\n<div>Mary believed in the word from God and was blessed.<\/div>\n<h2>Application:<\/h2>\n<div>Mary didn&#8217;t hesitate and doubt. In yesterday&#8217;s reading it was said that at first she was frightened. Once she knew the message was really from God, though, she took it to heart.<\/div>\n<div>Once we know a message or direction is from God, we need to take it to heart, believe in it and do as instructed. In so doing, we will be blessed.<\/div>\n<h2>Prayer:<\/h2>\n<div>Lord, how silly of me to sometimes be so sure something is from you and then still proceed with fear. Instead, I need to listen and then fully belive in you. You&#8217;ve got me in your hand. You know what&#8217;s next and you know what&#8217;s best.<\/div>\n<h2>What about you?<\/h2>\n<div>What did you hear?<\/div>\n<div>Are you confident and believe in the message when you hear His Word?<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Are you reading Luke with me this month?
