Today I saw God in the following ways:
Listening to a friend talk about a new initiative to help moms and children who need it which can keep them from needing foster care. While she spoke, I couldn’t help but wonder what the stirring inside of me that was happening while she was talking meant. He’ll tell me when I need to know, I’m sure.
I felt His love through two friends, asking me about a something that happened over the weekend– and then really listening to hear what I had to say about it.
The kindness of my husband in a seemingly simple way. I wore a pair of sandals he brought home for me last week as a surprise gift. Some of you may find this superficial, but I think it was God, nudging him as He nudges all of us to kindness… but we don’t always listen. Well, G listened and was kind in an unexpected way. That makes me smile.
My daughter wanting to braid my hair while I was on a conference call… and me letting her. It was even a video call. For work. That is one of the good things about being the CEO of a startup and working from home. I get to set the culture code.
He’s there– He is in every bit of it and so much more.
