B 90 Days SOAP: No matter how far you stray, He’ll bring you back

Day 15 of the Bible in 90 Days

Scripture: Deuteronomy 30: 4

Even if you have been banished to the most distant land under the heavens, from there the Lord your God will gather you and bring you back.

Observation: Verses prior to this one talk about returning to the Lord after straying. This verse reiterates that those that genuinely come back will be welcomed with open arms, loved and restored.

Application: God loves us, each and every one of us. He wants to be in communion with us. He wants to put his great big arms around us and let us experience the radiance of his love.

And even when we make mistakes, big, small and gargantuan ones, he still loves us and will bring us back if we just ask and then love him back with all of our being. Really. He said so. Nothing is too big for Jesus to bear. And he took it for all of us.

Prayer: Lord, thank you for this reminder that you love each and every single one of us.

And that you will always love us and call out for us and welcome us back when we stumble… no matter how big that stumble is. Really.

That is some amazing forgiveness. Thank you for that for me and all others.

Show me how to share this with those who really need to hear it, Lord. I want all to understand and experience your grace and love.

  2. Amen! There’s a Petra song that says something like “You might have walked ten thousand steps away, don’tcha know that it’s only one step back?”

  3. I’am one of them. I didn’t read the Bible or attend church for more/less 10 years. A week before Y2010 God leads me (all of the sudden) to prayer. In my prayer, I told God that I missed HIm so much and asked Him to help me have a true relationship with Him. I want so much His presence in my life. Though my life is ok – life without God is no meaning at all.

Then I found about B90 days. You don’t know how much this helps me. We are only 2 weeks in reading and already God is doing great things in my life. He is changing me – really changing my spirit. This is a new beginning for me.

That’s why I even took a vacation leave from work last Monday so I can catch up in reading. I ‘am set to finish this. I want to set a new habit of reading God’s word everyday. I don’t want to be without Him again.

    1. Wow! What an amazing story! I am so glad you’re back.. but He’s even more excited!

  4. how can I sign up to do the 90 days things on my own blog, starting FEB.1 ? I’d love to do it, and I don’t know if I need to officially “sign up ” with the “90 days” ministry.

    thanks
    kari
