Bible in 90 Days: Week 13 Check In

This is it, folks!

We are in the final days of this session of Bible in 90 Days with MomsToolbox.

Day 90 is this coming Saturday.

The end is in sight.

Will you finish with us?

Did you make it a true commitment these past 3 months?

Will you sail over the finish this week?

Will you make a mad dash so that you do finish (and not put it aside yet again)?

Or are you one of the few who has already finished and is reaping the rewards (and wondering what to do next)?

I am so thankful for each and every one of you who made the commitment, regardless of where you are right now. I am so proud of each of you who is marching toward the finish and will celebrate with us on Saturday. No matter where you are, if you want to finish with us, you still can. It really is up to you… and I hope that each of you who wanted to back in July will make it happen with us here in October.

Finisher T-shirts

In a few days I will post information about the all-new Bible in 90 Days finisher T-shirt which you are welcome to order as a finisher.

The shirts will be printed on a soft, navy blue T-shirt and will cost somewhere around $18 each, including shipping. As soon as I have the final details, I will post them and then ordering will be open through Saturday, October 15. You will be required to pay for your shirt via PayPal (or prior arrangement) before your order is complete. Once ordering closes, the shirts will be printed and shipped October 21, if all goes according to plan.

Grad lists

As you finish, please fill out this short Bible in 90 Days Finisher Form so that I can be sure to add you to our finisher list and find out a few of your thoughts on the program. Feel free to email your mentor as well… I’m sure she would like to celebrate with you!!

Check in and let us know how you are doing

Please click to your group page and leave a comment there but, this week, please also leave a comment on this post letting us know where you are in the reading and if you will finish with the group. If you leave a comment both places, each of us will get to see just how many are in our larger MomsToolbox community reading and growing. And I think that is pretty cool.

Get ready for the week ahead of you

You know the drill. If you don’t already have the Bible in 90 Days bookmark, then click the highlighted text for the Bible in 90 Days Week 13 schedule and Daily SOAP Devotionals. And, as usual, I will also post the daily reading right here on MomsToolbox.

Tweet up!

We only have two more Twitter parties this session: We will ‘meet’ tonight and also next Monday night.
Follow MomsToolbox on Twitter and join us this and next Monday night from 8-9 CST to chat about the reading, meet other readers and encourage each other for an hour of fast-paced conversation. Be sure to add #B90Days to your tweets and follow that hashtag so you don’t miss a message. I use TweetChat.com to help me keep track of the conversation and respond more easily.

Feel free to tweet about your progress on Twitter and encourage others anytime by tweeting with the #B90days hashtag. Then look for other tweets with the same hashtag and pray for and encourage those tweeters. (Using HootSuite or TweetDeck and opening a column for #B90Days helps to find those tweets.)

I left a comment with my group 4. I finished in 88 days and I am very thankful for this challenge and the support system.

  2. All done! I’ve been so pleased with this experience… I’m so thankful that I can share it with others now and give testimony that, though it was very challenging, I did it and they can too.

I did it! I really can’t believe I did. Am overwhelmed and so grateful for this ministry and how it has served, encouraged and pushed me to “fight the good fight.” Thank you. I would encourage anyone who is thinking about this to do it. If I can do it, anyone can. This has been wonderful.

  4. Whoo hoo!! I made it! This is the first time ever for me and we finished on my birthday. How cool is that? My hubby read with me (tho he has read through many times, he joined me for moral support).

Hallelujah! Amen! It is finished! I really, really, not kidding you, read the entire Bible, cover-to-cover, in 88 days! I highly recommend this plan to everyone, I didn’t think it was possible, but you really can read the Bible in 90 days!

God is so good! I was almost 2 weeks behind and have poured myself into reading His word to catch up. He has allowed me to finish in 87 days! What a feeling. So glad I made the commitment to go on this journey with all of you!

Hope you got my message on the weekend that I finished on Saturday and it feels so good!!! One of my nieces is keeping my bible so lets pray that she joins the program too. Thanks Amy for all your prayers and encouragment!!!

  12. Done! Done! Done! :)

Finished today! Back on August 29th I was still on Day 17th, according to the schedule I should have been on Day 50. I had basically given up. After an inspiring weekly check in post I dug my heels in and decided to stick to my commitment I had made to God. It took 2 or more readings per day and up until this past weekend I was able to do that. Was it hard – YES! Was it worth it – MOST DEFINITELY! I’m ready to go again. This time I’m going to do a chronological reading plan. Thanks again Amy for your encouragement and this ministry.

I have 6 days to finish by this Saturday. Just have to double up twice. I really think I’m going to do it!

  14. Hi All! Am still behind….just finished with Hosea, but am trying very hard to be able to finish on time…..keep praying for me!

  15. Hi everyone! I’m behind at the moment (currently reading in Luke), but bound & determined to keep reading and finish on time on Saturday. (I’m in group 49)

  16. Hi all! Tonight I just put my bookmark at the end of day 73… twelve days behind schedule… leaving me with a do-able fifteen days of reading to fit into the next five days. I love that I now consider the idea of reading 45 chapters of the Bible in a day as do-able!

    1. For reference, I’m in group 17.

I am going to finish this week. Right now I am 2 days behind but I am determined to finish within the 90 day window. :)

  33. Finishing Day 84 today. Will finish this week. Felt Satan attacking this past weekend. I didn’t get in all the reading that I had planned … kept hearing a little voice in my head … that’s ok, you have until Saturday, you don’t have to read all of this tonight, etc, etc … It was that same voice I listened to back in August and then found myself 33 days behind. I hate that voice! My plan this week to shut out that voice. :)

    1. Stop that voice!!! You CAN do this! Stay strong and you WILL!

  34. I’m up to date and will finish this week for the third time. I praise God for you Amy and your leadership in this wonderful program!

I am right on track with reading and will finish this week! I’m so excited to be at the finish line!

Isa 40:31 (NIV) But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.

2 Tim 4:7 I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. 8Now there is in store for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award to me on that day—and not only to me, but also to all who have longed for his appearing.

1 Cor 9:24 Do you not know that in a race all the runners run, but only one gets the prize? Run in such a way as to get the prize. 25Everyone who competes in the games goes into strict training. They do it to get a crown that will not last; but we do it to get a crown that will last forever. 26Therefore I do not run like a man running aimlessly; I do not fight like a man beating the air. 27No, I beat my body and make it my slave so that after I have preached to others, I myself will not be disqualified for the prize.

I think I’ll be dancing around my house at the end of the week to the Rocky theme~Gonna Fly Now! LOL ;)

    1. Awesome!! And I love that you shared those verses!

Get ready to dance, girl!!! I’ll be dancing with you.
