Belle Glos Pinot Noir Clark & Telephone

Tonight my husband came home with a few bottles of a wine he discovered last weekend on a cycling trip.

He claimed it would do things which husbands like wines to do for their wives (and them, too.)

I laughed and he proceeded to pour me a glass. And then another.

It was delicious and the flavor continually evolved in my glass, while the mouthfeel remained full and supple.

It was sweet. It was juicy. It was spicy. It was different and intriguing sip after sip.

Gary pointed out that it’s not often I drink more of a bottle than he does, but this time, I just couldn’t help myself from going back for more. It was that good.

So what was the wine? It was Belle Glos Pinot Noir Clark & Telephone  2012 and, if you like full, supple, delicious wines that offer a variety of flavors, this is one you should definitely try. And here’s the icing– Gary just told me the bottle cost about $35 at Spec’s in The Woodlands (near Houston, Texas). Are you kidding me? THAT make it even more awesome!

But wait there’s more. He also brought home Belle Glos Pinot Noir from Las Alturas Vineyard. Uh oh– better save that one for another night. This stuff could be potent.
