Bible in 90 Days: a little blog-keeping

I don’t think I can say enough how exciting reading the Bible in 90 days along with all of you has been! It has been amazing to see so many readers and bloggers join in our virtual community. I have been praying for all of you throughout my days and I love doing that, knowing that you are seeking truth in this adventure.

I just updated the links in my sidebar to other bloggers who are reading along with us. Before, the links went to a post about reading the Bible in 90 days and now the links take you to each blogger’s home page. I changed it so that it will be easy for all of us to check in with each other and see what observations others sharing. Please swing by and see what the others in our community have to share… and then cheer each other on with comments and prayers.

If you are a blogger who has posted about your participation in the Bible in 90 Days and you are not listed, please send me a note with a link to your post and I will add you.

As I have mentioned before, every Monday MomsToolbox will feature a check in post, alerting you as to where you should be in your reading and asking you to tell us how you are doing.

This is an important part of the accountability feature of our group. Please make it a point to swing by at some point every Monday and check in. I know it sounds a bit legalistic, but this is really to help you and our whole community to stay on track.  I want to celebrate completing our reading together with all of you on March 31, so I am going to ask you to do a few things here and there to lead to the success of all of us.

Bloggers: I would love for you to post a note on your own blog as to where you are and link up on the MckLinky on Mondays. Please link if you can, even if you are not up to date. If you aren’t up to date, I bet you’ll get a  lot of encouragement from your readers. In your post, as is the usual link etiquette, please link to my post so your readers can see how everyone else is doing. Please do not host your own linky. Instead ask your readers to check in with the whole community each Monday.

Readers without blogs: We want to know how you are doing, too. So please leave a comment each Monday letting us know where you are in your reading. If you’d like to add anything else, I’d love to read it.

For those of you who have questions and would like to start a few conversations of your own, I have added a BlogFrog community to MomsToolbox. Click on the Visit my Community button to the right, create a profile for yourself if you need to, then either click on a discussion title that looks interesting to your or click on the FORUMS title and start a new discussion. You’ll notice that the discussions are archived, so you don’t have to worry about missing an answer or discussion. Just hop on in when you can.

I think that’s enough for now. I don’t want to cut into your Bible reading time… Especially this week when it will be more difficult to stay on track. So hang in there and keep reading. See ya Monday for our check in!

  4. Love the idea of linking up with a status post!

So far I am on track, although i do have today’s reading to do still.

I will not be blogging much this week as our 4yr old is scheduled for open heart surgery on Monday and will be in the hospital all week, so any posts will be updates on that, if any.

Will hopefully start the week after that.

I will certainly be praying for you, your daughter, doctors and family through the surgery. Hang in there and call on Him for peace and comfort.
