Bible in 90 Days Day 45

Day 45

Wa-Hooo! Here we are at day 45 of 90! We are half-way through our time of reading the entire Bible together in just 90 days!

How does it feel? Stick that bookmark in, turn your Bible on it’s side and take a look? What do you think?

Are you jumping up and down and bursting with excitement over what you have read, what you have heard and how far you have come?If so, please tell us all about it here!

Or are you a little down becasue that bookmark isn’t quite where you would like for it to be?

If you are of the second camp, pray about it, leave us a comment to pray for you and don’t waste any more time. (Yes, I did just write that.) Get off the computer and read, read, read. Don’t just try to catch up. Make a plan and work the plan.

You signed up for this challenge for a reason and you can do it. No, it won’t be easy. And nobody else can do it for you. But, no matter how far behind you are, you CAN catch up. And don’t tell me you just aren’t getting anything from the reading because you are going too fast. His Word always has something for you whether you see it at the time or not. So buckle down, find those moments He has given you and give them back to Him. Immerse yourself in His Word. Soak in the gift of His truth and repeat, repeat, repeat until you have read it all. You will not regret it. And it is only 45 more days. Then you can get back to life as usual (or maybe not). Just do it. Just read it. No more excuses.

  1. Amy, you have been so good at encouragement! And your comments have been perfectly timed for me. You nurtured and encouraged and inspired when I needed that. And now you are giving me the kick in the pants I need. Thanks! Leah

P.S. Read this yesterday and I needed it and I came back to it today to read it again because I am frittering away time that I could use to read. Going to read now…no excuses!

  2. I am looking like – only 1/2 way – only 1/2 way. I feel a bit discouraged this week for whatever reason. We watched The Book of Eli the other night – and was just thinking what would it be like with the last bible available … and why would it take that to make the one I have so special – so cherished by me?

    sigh – ramblings.

  3. Once I’m done ;o) I’m going to start April 3rd right from the beginning! I’m praying that I will get the bible read 4 times all the way through this year!
