Calling for Easy, Time-saving Meals

If you are reading the Bible in 90 Days with us, and maybe even if you are not, I bet you are looking to save as much time as possible. But you have to eat and, if you are a  mom, you have have to feed your family, too.

And we all know that, most often, home-cooked meals are better for you than anything you can get on the go.

Last week I shared a bit about Cooking During Stolen Moments with a delicious recipe for Tortilla-Crusted Chicken, Fajita Vegetables and Mexican Black Beans.

This week I’m collecting recipes for easy meals that regular moms (like me) can cook so that I can combine them in one post and share them with you. I’m looking for meals that need very little kitchen expertise and use regular ingredients that are easy to find and inexpensive to purchase. Most of all, they should be easy to prepare to help save time in the kitchen, so you can apply that time to your Bible in 90 Days reading!

Freezer cooking and other types of advance-preparation techniques can be time-savers, but for this roundup I’m not looking for advance-cooking, just simple, cook-it-for-tonight-type stuff.

Do you have a recipe that fits the bill? Please send me either links to recipes like that which are on your blog (or even another blog you love) or an email with a complete recipe and your name so I can credit you. I’ll compile the recipes, add them to a few of my favorites and get them posted early next week. Then we can all save little time and cook a little easier.

To be included, please send your links and recipes to me via email no later than this Friday, February 11. Please email me using the email icon on the top right of MomsToolbox and enter “Easy Recipes” as your subject.

Thanks, in advance, for all of your yummy, easy recipes! I can’t wait to get cooking with you!

  1. I have a recipe blog that has a lot of easy recipes. Some of them will have to be doubled for a larger family as I am only cooking for Mi Amor and myself right now. Hope you enjoy!
