The fact that we are in December and Christmas is right around the corner is getting more real to me. Today our Brownie Girl Scout troop is helping to decorate the church for Christmas and is wrapping gifts each of our families have donated to give to our sponsored family. It’s definitely beginning to look a lot like Christmas!
Today’s advent activity for moms includes the family, as well. It is a simple one that can totally set the mood in your home. There is just something about the flickering light of candles that slows me down and makes me smile. I hope this has the same effect on your family this evening.
So here it is, your Daily Advent Activity for Moms:
Play Christmas carols and light candles while preparing dinner. Keep the music and candles going during dinner and have each person share one favorite carol or a favorite thing about Christmas.
I hope you and your family are able to stop and really enjoy each other this evening, even in the midst of all the hustle and bustle.
