Scripture: Mark1:35
Very early in the morning, while it was still dark, Jesus got up, left the house and went off to a solitary place, where he prayed.
Observation: Jesus was sure to rise early, get away from others and pray where he could in peace.
Application: It has become more difficult for me to fit in my reading and SOAP time. Although I am feeling so tired and overwhelmed lately, I need to rise before everyone else and begin my devotional time. He will give me the energy I need if I follow his example.
Prayer: Heavenly Father, thank you for this reminder to get up early, retreat to a private spot and meet with you. Just this morning I am rushing to type my words, and trying to ignore the sounds around me. Please guide me in ordering my tasks so I go to bed earlier and rise to meet you.
