Memories to Share: Memory #16- Meeting your Spouse

memories-to-share-post

I certainly didn’t meet my husband the way I thought that I would… he was siting in a table in my station where I was waiting tables, yet someone else had already picked up the table by the time I got to work. And still, we found a way to connect.

And even though I refused to give him my phone number when he first asked, (I felt it was way too soon in our conversation!) by the end of that first meeting, which went hours after that request for my number, I’m pretty sure I was smitten. I’m so thankful he came back into the restaurant another time so we could meet again!

The story of how you met your spouse and what led you to marriage is a special story– even if it may not feel fairy-tale worthy. Share your story. Document it. Don’t let it be forgotten. Even if you are divorced today, there is meaning and value in that story.

Week 16’s prompt is:

If married, how did you meet your spouse? Tell how things progressed from meeting to marriage. How did you know your spouse was the one?

So… What is your story?
