Up until Christmas, I will be sharing one Advent Activity per day for moms and families. (If you aren’t a mom, don’t worry. Many of the more mom-like activities can easily be adapted for anyone.)
I hope you will try out and enjoy these little gifts for your family from me. It is my prayer that you will find them to be a great way to have fun and get into the Christmas spirit.
MomsToolbox Advent Activity for December 5:
Consider celebrating St. Nicholas Day as German children do. Before going to bed, leave shoes outside of the house tonight for Saint Nicholas to fill with treats to be found the morning of December 6.
(This idea was inspired for my family by our German exchange student. My kids are thrilled to have a German sister and get to do this… They have their biggest shoes ready to go.)
