My Positive Playlist– What’s on yours?

just-for-you-post

A friend of mine just asked his friends on Facebook to list some of their favorite super optimistic songs so he could create a playlist. He tagged me in the post specifically, so he must think I’ve already got one.

And he is right.

I started a playlist of positive, uplifting songs a few years ago while training for one of the MS 150 bicycle rides and just kept adding to it.

Rather than just share with JD, I’m sharing it with all of you, too.

Here’s what’s on my positive playlist:

  • Unwritten- Natasha Bedingfield
  • Walking on Sunshine- Katrina and the Waves
  • Ya Gotta Be- Des’ree
  • Gone in the Morning- Newton Faulkner
  • New Shoes- Paola Nutini
  • Press On- Building 429
  • I Gotta Feeling- Black-Eyed Peas
  • Everything Glorious- David Crowder Band
  • Hall of Fame- The Script
  • Beautiful Day- U2
  • Right Here, Right Now- Jesus Jones
  • I Go to Work- Kool Moe Dee
  • Shake it Off- Taylor Swift
  • Break My Stride- Matthew Wilder
  • Who Says- Selena Gomez
  • Feel This Moment- Pitbull (featuring Christina Aguilera)
  • Tubthumping- ChumbaWamba
  • Roar- Katy Perry
  • I Lived- One Republic
  • Best Day of My Life- American Authors
  • On Top of the World- Imagine Dragons
  • The Fighter- Gym Class Heroes (Two words in here make it not so good for young ears. But it makes me train harder, so I’m including it nonetheless! :) )

What’s on YOUR positive song playlist (or should be)?

  1. “Happy” by Pharrell Williams always gets me moving. One that is super popular right now is “Uptown Funk” by Mark Ronson and Bruno Mars and if that one doesn’t get you dancing then there is something wrong! I love your list!
