Presenting the Facts. Acts 2

Today our reading is Acts is Acts 2. Here is what stood out to me:

Scripture: Acts 2:29

“Therefore let all Israel be assured of this: God has made this Jesus, whom you crucified, both Lord and Christ.”

Observation:

Seeing all that we have seen and looking back to the prophecies, Jesus is definitely the One sent by God to be Lord and Savior.

Application:

I like how Peter presents the case and explains, with solid points, how and why he believes Jesus to be who he is.

I hope that I can be as straightforward in speaking with others in backing up my beliefs in clear, concise points, using accepted information as a base.

Prayer:

Lord, please guide me in sharing about you in indisputable ways. Guide me not in being confrontational, but in being fact-based in sharing with those who need facts to understand you better. And please help my own understanding of you and my relationship with you to grow in the ways you intend. Thank you for the Bible you have offered me to read. Thank you for giving me tools and methods to read it and thank you for meeting each time I read.

What about you?

What stood out to you in the reading today?
