Slugs & Bugs to benefit Justin’s TRIumph Over GAN & Hannah’s Hope Fund

Can you imagine what it would be like if your child was suffering from a rare rare, fatal genetic disorder and there wasn’t any federal funding to help find a solution?

Houston kids Justin and Lexi Clark and their family are facing that battle. Both have been diagnosed with Giant Axonal Neuropathy (GAN), which affects only 50-70 children worldwide. Justin was having trouble walking straight and was falling down, which led to his diagnosis. Lexi was diagnosed soon after Justin.

Justin’s twin brother, Jared, does not have the disorder, so he participates in triathlons and other fundraising events in his brother and sister’s honor.

On Friday, September 19th, you can help this family, and all kids with GAN, all while taking in a concert perfect for pre-schoolers and their families.

Slugs and Bugs, a Christian kids band, will be performing a benefit show at Houston Chinese Church beginning at 7 p.m.

The show promises to be fun for the whole family… and offer the hope of a better future for Justin, Lexi and other kids suffering the effects of GAN.

Tickets are $10  and can be purchased at http://www.justinstriumph.org/events/

Of course, donations above the tickets price are also welcome.
