Scripture:
2 Corinthians 13:11
Dear brothers and sisters, I close my letter with these last words: Rejoice. Change your ways. Encourage each other. Live in harmony and peace. Then the God of love and peace will be with you.
Observation: Paul reminds us that Jesus Christ is love. And that this love must be shown and enjoyed. In all our doing we are to continually show the love of Christ and strive for a life Christ might desire for us, and also encourage others.
Application: I need to show the joy in Christ to all I encounter. But this should happen only because I truly believe in it and not because I am acting. When I let Jesus direct my life, that light will be undeniable.
Prayer: Lord, please guide me in my day to day living to let your light shine over my mistakes and onto those around me. I want to share your love and joy with others. And I want to follow you completely. Please continue to guide my path. Thank you, Lord, for allowing me to follow you and share your love, even with all my blemishes.
