SOAP: He really is my strength

Good morning from Barcelona, Spain!

I am here with my son for the Mobile World Congress, presenting about VineSleuth/ Wine4.Me on behalf of IBM Watson in just a few days. I have only been here 20 hours and I am already having a wonderful time.

It amazes me the opportunities I have been given and the adventures I get to experience. This tech startup of mine has definitely brought new things my way and put me in places I never expected. In addition to the speaking engagement, I will be interviews about 3 other times, on video, about tech, my business, my thoughts on the future, all sorts of crazy exciting stuff.

So how in the world do I make it through all those questions, all these speaking engagements and the crazy whirlwind schedules of business travel?

Well, that brings us right to today’s SOAP.

Today’s reading is Numbers 19-20, Psalm 28 and Mark 5.

Here is what grabbed me:

Scripture:

The Lord is my strength and my shield;
my heart trusts in him, and he helps me.
My heart leaps for joy,
and with my song I praise him.

Psalm 28:7

Observation:

He is the one that brings me strength, protection and joy. How can I not praise him for that?

Application:

I lean on Him as often as I can. The Lord is where my strength comes from. When I am tired, when I am nervous, He pulls me through.

I remind myself that I am where I am because of doors he has opened for me. He prepared me for these moments. He didn’t set me up to fail. And that bring me great joy. I cannot help but thank him.

Prayer:

Father, God,

Thank you again for so many amazing adventures and opportunities. Thank you for calming my butterflies and heart by reminding me that YOU  have me. Please continue to show me the way, Lord. I need you and I cherish your direction. I love you. Thank you.
