I was in New York City yesterday for a meeting and fortunately I was able to tuck in a few meetups with friends I adore (and who energize me!!) as well as a quick trip to ‘meet’ a fearless girl…
I LOVE this new statue of the fearless girl staring down the famous bull in NYC!
And of course I had to ask someone to snap a pic of me with her.
Watching all the other women taking group photos with her was empowering in its own way. I felt like we were all celebrating our sisterhood as women… and it was gorgeous.
I had to laugh, though, when a mom of a young girl insisted her daughter take off her bicycle helmet and stand in a particular way. The daughter had her own opinions about the photo and would not comply. I had to inwardly side with the daughter on this one… she was expressing her own spirit!! And she was FEARLESS!
