From June 15- July 24, I will read every word of the New Testament and I would LOVE for you to join me.
Many of you know of my love for helping people read the Bible in its entirety. I have hosted several Bible in 90 Days read throughs, guiding thousands worldwide in reading every word, cover to cover, in just 90 days each time…. and loved the reading, the listening and watching others take part. I have wanted to host again for quite some time, but haven’t.
This summer, instead of a whole Bible read through, I am hosting a quick, easy and still rewarding reading of the New Testament from June 15- July 24, and I’d love for you to join me. I have no doubt it will be super simple to do, and yet will yield so much.
Here’s how you can join me in reading the New Testament in just 40 days this summer:
- Commit to reading.
- Mark your calendar for June 15-July 24 and invite a friend to join you.
- Select a translation of the New Testament to read. (I’m reading the NIV.)
- Visit me at MomsToolbox Monday, June 15, leave a comment to let me know you are IN and print a copy of the reading schedule. Pop it on your mirror, in your Bible, on your refrigerator— anywhere it will remind you to keep reading and allow you to check off the day’s reading as you go.
- READ the assigned reading daily! Each day’s reading should take you between 20-40 minutes.
Simple, right?

Why the New Testament in 40 Days?
I want to jump back into making time to read just scripture: HIS words, no commentary, no curation of several passages, just the scripture, start to finish. If you’re in for that sort of thing, I’d love for you to join me.
I’m just doing the New Testament this time because I want to be bombarded with love, with peace, with forgiveness… and with guidance on how to show love and peace and forgiveness. And I want a simple plan that anyone can jump in and join me to do, soaking in truth… and love, peace and forgiveness.
It all starts Monday…
On Monday, June 15, I will post the full reading schedule here on MomsToolbox. Then, I will also post each day’s reading assignment each day here on MomsToolbox, as well as on the MomsToolbox Facebook page and on my SOAP Devotional Instagram account.
Of course I’d love for you to pop on and visit me in any of those places and leave a comment so I know you’re with me. But the most important thing to do is to read. So follow along however you like. And read.
We’re just reading, not studying
All you have to do is read the Bible reading for the day. Journaling is 100% optional. And don’t even worry about understanding every word… He will let you know what you need to know when you need to know it. Just soak Him in daily with me.
Each day’s reading should take you from 15- 30 minutes to do, which should be super easy to fit into your schedule. You can read right when you get up, right before you go to bed, or anytime in between those. Just read.
