Scripture: 1 Corinthians 12:4-6
4There are different kinds of gifts, but the same Spirit. 5There are different kinds of service, but the same Lord. 6There are different kinds of working, but the same God works all of them in all men.
Observation: The Lord has created us different from each other, unique in our gifts and abilities to serve, yet all with the ability to serve and glorify our Father.
Application: Not everyone will serve the Lord in the same way. We have all been given gifts to use in service. And God will use all those gifts if we let him.
Prayer: Lord, sometimes it is easy to see someone else’s gifts and compare ourselves, longing for that gift. You did not make us the same, though. You made us unique in so many ways and included in that are our gifts of service. Please, Lord, touch those that are wondering how to serve you. Guide them in finding the way you designed for them. Thank you for designing all of us to work together in glorifying you. Guide all of your believers in finding and exercises our gifts in ways pleasing to you, and for your glory alone, not ours.
