Scripture: Ezekiel 18:31
Rid yourselves of all the offenses you have committed, and get a new heart and a new spirit…
Observation: We are commanded to turn away from our sin and refresh ourselves.
Application: The only way to do this is through Jesus Christ.
Prayer: Lord, thank you for your son, Jesus Christ, the one who died for my sins, purifying me, giving me a new heart and a new spirit. Through Him alone I have new life. Please guide me in honoring this new life. Help me to change my ways and live as you would have me live, yet understand that it will not be my actions that will please you, the one true judge, it will be my faith in you and in Jesus Christ alone.
