B 90 Days SOAP: Two are Better than One

Day 48 of the Bible in 90 Days

Scripture: Ecclesiastes 4:9-10

9Two are better than one, because they have good return for their work:

10If one falls down, his friend can help him up.

But pity the man who falls and has no one to help him up!

Observation: It’s better to work in a team because you can help and encourage each other.

Application: When Ted Cooper introduced the Bible in 90 Days in church I thought I didn’t need it and could read the Bible on my own. I tried (again) after hearing about the program and failed. Then I signed up for the next reading group and read the entire Bible. I had a whole team of partners, cheering me on and praying for me. And it worked. The caught me when I fell and kept me going.

I see the same thing happening with our online group of readers. I love praying for those who are having trouble… and it warms my heart even more to see tweets and comments from all of the participants praying for and encouraging each other. We are truly a community and we are getting much better investment for our work.

Thanks for coming on this journey with me and working together. It has been amazing and exhilerating to experience.

Prayer: Lord, thank you so much for this wisdom that two are better than one. I have certainly seen that in my marriage and now I have seen it again in this Bible in 90 Days online reading challenge.

Thanks for allowing us to share your love and grow together, encouraging each other along the way. It has been amazing and I cannot thank you enough for the honor and privilege of being used by you for this purpose. Thank you, Lord.

Please continue to bless all of our readers and stir the hearts of those you’d like to join us when we begin a new group. Thank you, Lord.
