Bible in 90 Days Check in

Welcome to the Week 3 Check in post!

This was a tough week of reading and I am proud of each and every one of you for sticking to it. If you aren’t up to date, I am still proud of you for hanging in there. This is a big week for us. Many of you will become frustrated as you try to get into a routine for reading. Please consider praying for yourself and your fellow readers that we do not lose anybody this week.

I realize that reading the entire Bible in just 90 days feels fast. It is fast. But it will enable you to go back and really dive in later after getting a great overview. Plus, I bet you WILL remember much more than you realize after this exercise.

Hang in there and keep reading!

Get ready for the week ahead of you

It is required that you check in every Monday or contact your mentor to let her know you were unable to check in. To check in, follow the highlighted text to find your group’s communication page or click the groovy graphic at the top of this post and follow the instructions there. 1. Whether you’re: on schedule, slightly behind, really behind but still reading, or really behind and concerned.
I am behind but working on doing 18-20 pgs. this week to catch up. Mid-way through Judges.

    2. How are you doing? Wonderful! returned from a great family vacation at the beach w/ precious grandchildren, time by the ocean to view & ponder all of God’s creations.

    3. Is there anything I can do to help? Continue to encourage all of us who have fallen behind. We are so like those in the Bible…we move forward, then stall, maybe even slide, and repeat. All the while, God loves us but I think His patience is worn thin w/ me, as well it should be. But I am moving ~ and in the right direction. Thank you.

I am still plugging through although I am 2 days behind. I am actually starting to enjoy my time in the Word. It’s great that I have to check in. It really helps keeping me motivated. However, I have not yet been assigned a group or mentor.

Doing great! Between the garden, summer company, health issues in the family… must stay focused on the reading… hence, short comments. Prayers for everyone in the Bible reading/adventure. Love, Bettie
