Here we are we just over a month to go… can you believe it?
So many of you are in all different points of the Bible now: We have readers who are in the first few books of the Old Testament, almost caught up in the Old Testament, right on track, and some who are zooming ahead of schedule. Wherever you are, embrace the fact that you are reading His Word regularly, and don’t get discouraged if you feel as though you aren’t hearing much… I have no doubt you are hearing much more than you realize!
Also, though, if you are behind, do whatever you can to get caught up soon. Yes, it can be tough depending on how far back you may be, but get caught up or do your best to get as close as you possibly can. I promise it is about much more than checking off a box. Staying with us and finishing with us will keep you going and motivated until we all finish October 8. If you decide to finish much after the group finishes, you may not have the same encouragement and enthusiasm as when you are reading with the whole group… and we want you to finish!
For some of you, catching up may seem impossible. But all things are possible with Christ… and don’t you think He’ll help you with this one especially?
He has given you the time, it is up to you to decide how to use it.
We have about a month to go… what can you set aside for a month to be sure to finish with us? Can someone help you get your other ‘chores’ done for just a few weeks? Can you wake up even an extra hour and a half earlier? Or can you vow to read while you eat one meal each day… and before you go to bed? Can you set an alarm to go off every hour for a few hours and read for 15 minutes each time it sounds?
Think about what you can you do to really catch up and stay on track… and make plans to make it happen.
Let us know what YOU can do or what you are doing in the comments of this post before you head over to your own group and check in there. Hopefully we’ll build up a great list of ideas to help each other in finding and using the time.

Check in and let us know how you are doing
I’m sure you know the drill by now…
Checking in each week gives you a measuring post and a weekly goal to keep you on track so that you can complete this goal with us. It also lets us know who is still reading and who might need some extra encouragement. If you don’t check in, your mentor won’t know if she should still be helping you or if you have dropped out, so please check in so we know how to help and keep track of our readers. Reading and checking in here are the only two requirements of the program.
To check in, follow the highlighted text to find your group’s communication page or click the groovy graphic at the top of this post and follow the instructions there. You can also visit your group’s page at anytime during the week to connect with other members of your group.
If you do not know your group number, please check in by leaving a comment at the end of this post.
Since it is Labor Day in the USA, there will not be a #B90Days Twitter party tonight.
Use the time to catch up on your reading or enjoy your family and friends. We will pick up next week and cover both weeks of reading in the next Twitter party, Monday, September 12, from 8-9 CST
Feel free to tweet about your progress on Twitter anytime, however, and encourage others by tweeting with the #B90days hashtag. Then look for other tweets with the same hashtag and pray for and encourage those readers. (Using HootSuite or TweetDeck and opening a column for #B90Days helps to find those tweets.)
