Is this the group for those that are not in a mentored group? Will we check in here on Mondays OR are we just doing this on our own OR do you all have a group and this is just general comments? Thanks!

    1. Everyone who signed up has been assigned a group. I saw your note the other day– we’d love to place you in a group if you’d like to be in one! Check in is with the mentors, but everyone is encouraged to leave comments here, too. I’ll start with a check in post next Monday for those who would like to reach out beyond their groups, as well.

I am reading the chronological plan this time around. One thing that really helped me last time was having a Bible app on My iPad which had the B90 as a pre-loaded reading plan. That really made it so easy! When I decided to do the chronological plan this time, I was excited to see that my app also had a chronological plan on it. However, after comparing today’s assignment with the plan in the app, it is very different. :(. I was sort of counting on the app. Since it was such a big help last time. I guess I’ll have to manage with my own brain power!

Thank you for doing this again! I’ve been looking forward to it and will be following the chronological plan.

I have done B90 twice before, both cover to cover. This is my first chronological time and first time not getting into a mentor group. Am I posting in the correct place? Will I still do a check-in each Monday? Thanks for doing this again, Amy!

I read Gen 1-13 this morning, and even wrote a SOAP entry in my journal. Don’t be discouraged all you who were using the other chronological plan – this is not way different, just requires a little extra. I’ll go back and read the 1Chron passages and Gen 14 and be right back on track. Blessings to all – we’ve started our journey!

  6. I read my passages. It was different reading the 1 Chron. passages along with. Never seen that in a Chronological plan before. Makes sense to do it but just never seen it before.

God has really been working on me in regards to love the past few months.
This morning I was struck with
the fact that the Bible talks about how human wickedness broke God’s
heart and God made the decision to wipe out the human race expect Noah’s
family Genesis 6:6. I guess thinking about God and his ability to feel
    brokeness really struck me.

Will we receive a copy of the full chronological plan? or will we continue to print if off two weeks at a time? I printed a full version that was available last week but I heard it has mistakes?

    1. I did the same thing. I woke up at 5:30am to have time before my kids woke up (they are 2 years old and 6 months). I read Day 1, but when I looked here today my chronological plan was WAY different!

      1. Sabrina, Julie and everyone else who faced this today: I am so sorry about the mistakes with the initial plan. Yes, I will post the full schedule as soon as all of the bugs are worked out. Each day’s schedule will also be posted here each evening and there will be weekly bookmarks you can download.

I have arrived at this Challenge one week late but intend to not let that deter me from starting and in Gods will completing these wonderful but challenging #90days ahead. I always find Satan is on alert when I begin to study Gods Word in a very disciplined mammer so I know he is going to provide lots of very believable distractions in my life for the next three months.

Here are my thoughts for Day 1
    S. Genesis 15:1 ” After these things the Word of the Lord came to Anram in a vision saying, “Don not fear, Anram. I am a Shield to you; Your reward shall be great.””

    O. A. The Word of the Lord came to Abrams in a vision.
    B. Your shield, reward – Abrams required protection as he had just fought five kings. He forfeited greatly materially but God will more than make up what Abrams gave for the Lord.
    C. Do not be afraid – Abrams had good reason to be afraid, but God gave him a reason to put away his fears.

    A. A. How does God reveal Himself to me? – By the working of the Holy Spirit on my mind, by making alive a passage of Scripture to my heart, by the Holy Spirit revealing Himself through a preacher, teacher.
I need tom learn to meditate more on the Scriptures to allow the Holy Spirit to reveal Himself to me.
Learn that my prayer time is a conversation so being quiet is as important attribute.
Anything denied physically, mentally or financially to witness for Chris is always worthwhile. May I trust God more in this area.
I have the assurance that God always knows how to become the answer to my needs.
I can rest in the assurance that God never tells me “Do not be afraid,” without giving me a reason to put away my fears. I need to trust, trust, trust!!!

    P. Father, I just thank You for Your prompting me to begin this study albeit late. Right from the outset You have spoken to me from Your Word. For this little nugget of grace You instilled upon my heart I praise and Thank You. Lord, You continually provide assurance for every situation in my life- be it trials, fears, worries, or illness. You whisper “Do not fear,” and so often I ignore both Your Voice and Your teaching. I humbly pray that I will gain confidence to patiently wait on Your Voice and decision, that I would approach Your Word with anticipation and expectation, trusting that You will provide my every need in Your Way and in Your timing.
Thank You, Lord, that for every fear that the devil burdens me with, You provide a reason for me to put away that fear. Father, any “sacrifice” I make for the advance, net of Your Ingdom is nothing in comparison to the ultimate sacrifice You made on my behalf, when Your Son died upon the cross. Yet often, I feel hard done by when something I want is given up for Your Glory. I humbly pray for Your Forgiveness for my selfish attitude and behaviour and ask for Your Guidance in my area of weaknesses. I long Lord, for a heart saturated with love and joy and willingness to trust You, without fear, and serve You in any way You require.
Thank You Lord, for this time together and for all You have taught me. You spoke and I listened and our time together was good, all because I took time to listen! May I continue in this #90day Challenge with a receptive heart and attentive ear. Lord I pray this also for my fellow Sisters in Christ who are embarking on this journey also. In you will may I continue at a pace behind the rest or catch up with the schedule. Lord Jesus may You intercede these thoughts to my heavenly Father in a way worthy for His Presence. In Jesus name, Amen.

Checkin in.. VERY slow start for me.

  12. Today I got a bit carried away…I read day 1, day 2, and day 3 (let’s just say I was in the car in a parking lot for quite a while…definitely glad I brought my Bible with lol) but it amazed me how easily everything fits together when you sit down and just read. It all blends from one event into the next!

Getting off to a slow start – pacing myself to catch up this week!

  14. I have started reading the Bible through many times. And usually get sidetracked and quit. I want to do it this time. But with a newborn coming in the middle of August, I am afraid I will quit again! Will someone keep me accountable?
