I hope you are well on your way to reading the entire Bible in 90 days with us. :) Was it easy or challenging to find the time to read Day 1?

If you filled out the Bible in 90 Days sign up form, you should have heard from Farrell, our awesome volunteer who has been busy placing every single reader into a group. If you haven’t heard from her yet, please leave a comment with the name you used when you signed up so we can get you placed.

I am struggling not to study as I go- i have a life application bible so what i am doing is reading the assigned portion and then going back and reading all the footnotes so that I understand what I have just read

  It can be really hard to just read and not study. But through the years, I have found that studying is often what gets readers off track and prevents them from finishing. (I’ve been leading groups of Bible in 90 Days readers since 2003.) Is it possible for you to use a different Bible with fewer footnotes?

    Having just started today, it’ll be an aggressive schedule. So, I’m using a small notebook to jot down interesting scripture references, words or questions that arise. Actually, I note them on stickies and then stick them in the notebook. Once the reading is done I can study and follow references, to my heart’s content.

  Hi Nicole – so glad you commented!! It looks like on the registration form you accidentally put your last name in the ’email’ field, so I didn’t have an email for you and no way of contacting you. I think I’m most aware of the waiting. God spoke to Abram – long BEFORE Issac was conceived. To know he was going to have a son – from Sarah – and the waiting, for almost 20 years. wow – I am SUPER impatient. Yet – while Abraham’s servant is praying for the right wife for Isaac – it states “before he was done praying” — I’m liking that God can also work so fast we’re not even to the AMEN !!!
