Bible in 90 Days Day 106/ Week 16 Check in

The first mission of The Bible in 90 Days program is “to encourage people to read the entire Bible.” Ted Cooper, who founded The Bible in 90 Days, created a 90-day program to help people begin with the end in mind, commit to reading and make their way through the entire Bible, cover to cover.

Most often, those who commit to beginning this program do actually read the entire Bible, cover to cover, in just 90 days. It is the timeline and the accountability that enables them to get it finished… and celebrate with fellow readers. Others finish a bit after the 90 days are up… and their success at reading the Bible in its entirety is just as beautiful an accomplishment as those who finish in 90 days.

Today we celebrate those who finished a bit after the 90 days… and even those who are still not quite finished, but are keeping up a concerted effort to making it to that victorious finish.

If you finished after our final check in date and would love to share your thoughts on the experience, or if you are still reading and would like some encouragement or even would like to share your thoughts, I would love to hear from you. Feel free to link up a blog post about your experience or leave a note in the comments. Also, please be sure to contact your mentor and let her know how you are doing. Those ladies have spent a lot of time in prayer for each of you and would love to know how you are doing.

If you are still reading, please let us all know when you will finish. Put that mark on the calendar. And if you would like for me to check  in with you and hold you accountable, please leave a comment asking me to do so, be sure to enter your email address correctly in the form and tell me when you will finish. I will be praying for you by name and will contact you.

If you have finished, please let me know that, as well. Please leave a comment and fill out this link to a very short Bible in 90 Days Finishers’ Questionnaire. I will praise the Lord for His provision as you finished and thank Him for what is to come as a result of this experience. Follow this link to find out more about Bible in 90 Days Finisher T-shirts.

Thank you so much for joining me on this journey. You were an encouragement to me and to many others, regardless of when you finished.

If you would like to join me again or share this opportunity with others, our next session will begin Monday, January 3.

Amy! I finished last night! By His gracious provision, I stuck with it, even though sometimes I got hung up. I’m so excited!!

  2. I’m still at it as well. Got behind when life got in the way and just never was able to get caught up. My goal is to finish by Oct. 31st! No quitting here :)

I know I commented a couple of times at the very beginning then dropped off the radar with this site, but I was keeping in touch with Kari. I am still reading, praise God I finished the OT last night! :) That was a labor! I intend to finish by October 31st. Should be breezy. Haha. This has been such a blessing to me and my relationship with Christ and understanding of the Bible, regardless of the time line. I am so excited to learn more about the kings and prophets and time lines of Israel/Judah’s histories before I read in January. And, I will be encouraging my family to read with me next time. Very exciting. Thanks for facilitating.

I finished on time and it was a such a great blessing – the Bible came alive to me in a way I had not ever expected. As I finished, along with three of my friends who did it with me, I posted on my FB what I had done. A long lost friend from overseas wrote to inquire about the Bible – asking me if I thought she should read it, who wrote it, and what made it so special… God is opening a door that I did not even know was there!
Two more of the people in my group are still plugging away and will be done shortly. So out of a group of 8 that started, 6 will finish, or have finished. Thank you for keeping me accountable!
    Blessings

I’m guessing I won’t be finished until around Thanksgiving but I’m still plugging away. I will finish!

I hope to finish next Monday. With this 90 day challenge, I have had to deal with several difficulties. The first time I did the 90 day challenge, I read the Bible in 86 days. However, I am amazed how God was able to still teach me. I will finish reading my Bible!!!!

  7. I started WAY after the beginning–I’ll be finishing up in in early December. I would love an occasional “nudge” to keep me accountable. The neat thing is that I’m planning to join in with the group in January and reread it–and my husband is going to do it with me!

  8. I am still reading. My goal is to finish by the end of the month (October 31st).

  9. Do you have an idea about t-shirts yet?

    1. Yes, I do! I’ll post the details later today or tomorrow, as my schedule allows. :)
