Bible in 90 Days Day 44 SOAP: Teach me to honor YOU, not the world

Today’s Reading:  Psalms 109:1- Psalms 134:3

Scripture: Psalm 119: 66

Teach me knowledge and good judgment,

for I believe in your commands.

Observation:

I believe all that you say and trust you. Show me how to follow you and live.

Application:

I believe in the Lord’s commands and want to live my life according to His direction, but it’s not always easy for me to see just what to do. I want the Lord to guide me in seeing how to live and teach me how to have judgment that honors Him, not the world.

Prayer:

Lord, thank you for bringing me to your Word and sharing it with me. I know that following you completely is the best path for me, yet sometimes I stumble. Please teach me how to follow you better. Give me good judgment. Give me the knowledge I need to follow you alone and not be distracted. I love you, Lord and want to serve only you.

  1. I am loving reading through the psalms. So are my children. They read three chapters in the Bible a day before they start school. The youngest came in excited about reading in the Psalms. I responded that I was so thrilled that my children love reading their bible. She looked at me sheepishly and said they liked the Psalms because the chapters were shorter! LOL! Oh well, I can only do what I can do.

  2. Oops! Forgot to check in yesterday- we were driving to Tahoe for vacation. Anyway, I’m one day behind and hoping to get caught up while reading on the beach:)
