Bible in 90 Days: Day 90 Check in!

Wow! Here we are at Day 90 of the Bible in 90 Days!!!

No, we don’t normally have a  check-in on Saturdays. But I thought I’d take this opportunity to see how everyone is doing. And if you are finished, I bet you want to scream it from the mountaintops. Here’s your chance to do that… Well, kind of.

On Monday, which would be Day 92, we will have our official final check in. For those of you who are bloggers and have finished the adventure, I would love for you take that opportunity to write and post an overview of your experience reading the Bible in 90 Days with me and link it up then. (What a wonderful collection of inspiration and real stories we could have, with your help!) Please also feel free to share your stories in the comments Monday, too.

If you aren’t finished yet, perhaps on Monday you could share how your experience has been and then let us know when you do plan to finish your reading. Please, make plans to  join us for Monday’s final check in even if you aren’t finished. I’ll have an announcement then for you, too.

I cannot thank each of you enough for joining me in reading  the entire Bible in 90 days. I know your life, and many of those lives around you, will be changed because of it.

As an example of that, when I started (or even finished) for the first time, I never would have guessed all of this would have come about from that. I can’t wait to hear, in the coming years, what comes as a result from your experience.

So, if you are up for it, let me know how you are doing on today, Day 90 of the Bible in 90 Days.

If you are finished, please follow this B90Days finishers’/ graduates’ link and answer a few questions for me so I can keep track of who has finished.

And if not, keep reading!

I hope to ‘see’ all of you for our weekly check in on Monday (And hopefully for our Twitter celebration Monday night from 8-9 CST.)

I finished this afternoon and am so happy!!!

  7. We finished! I didn’t think we’d make it today. We got about 20 verses into Revelation and the iPod stopped… completely ran out the battery.

But we did it. How totally exciting! And we had about 2.5 hours to spare. :)

  9. Made It! Just finished!

  10. It’s 11 pm EST here on Oct 2 and I just finished. It took God stopping time for the last three days so I could read the last 200 pages, but He moved mountains and helped me finish my vow to Him to complete this. It has been nothing short of life-changing. I really enjoyed reading the Bible so quickly and from cover-to-cover. It was my first time successfully reading the complete Bible. Ultimately, I ended up reading it in about 45 days, because of travel and days where I read nothing. But, I can’t wait to dive in and read it again in January!

Thank you Amy for hosting this and for everyone’s prayers and support.

And to those still reading – do not lose heart. Keep reading. The journey is worth it.

  15. Did it! Almost got derailed by an impromptu shopping trip, but I just hauled myself over the finish line. Whew!

  16. I finished yesterday, Friday October 1st, on Day 89!

  17. I finished this morning too, after being several days behind on Monday. Thanks, Amy for bringing us all together. I know I would never have done it without the group.

  18. I finished yesterday, but it took me 94 days, so I’m not a 90 day graduate :( I have signed up for the next 90 Day Challenge! I’m looking forward to reading the Bible all the way through again.
    Thank you for the opportunity.
    Blessings,

  19. Woo hoo – finished Wednesday night because I just could not possibly leave those last 5 chapters of Revelation!

  20. donedonedonedonedone!!! I can hardly believe it… I spent most of the time behind but tried to stay faithful to reading a little (and sometimes a LOT! ha!) every day and… I finished on time! what a huge blessing this whole experience has been. thank you for leading us and for SO much encouragement along the way!!

  21. PRAISE THE LORD, I DID IT!!!! :D

I am overwhelmed and thrilled to have completed this goal, knowing that it is only by God’s grace it was accomplished. I told my husband, with tears in my eyes, that I am so inspired to learn more and know more…but more than that to BE more: more Christ-like, more Christ-centered, and more passionate about Who God is and what He has truly done for me. AMEN!

  22. I just finished!!! YEA!!! My husband is not far behind. It was great to be able to experience this with him. Thank you for your ministry, for setting up this blog, for providing mentors for us, and for your encouragement throughout the week.

Woo Hoo! I just finished! I agree with Katia in that this was like running a marathon even though I spent most of it behind the rest of the group. I have been anxious about reading Revelation, only because I never have before. I sit here this afternoon in total awe and wonder at the Word of God. I am overwhelmed, though inspired by the whole Word and can’t wait to start a study on the Gospel of John next week! What a great accomplishment for all of us. Amy, thanks for all your prayers and encouragment. And thank you to all the mentors! What a beautiful thing to have all those prayers floating up to God!!!

  24. I just finished. I loved it! What a wonderful feeling! I am truly overwhelmed with the beauty of getting the whole bible and it’s content all in one read, not a book here and there.
I feel as if I was running a marathon; even if most of the time I was really behind, I didn’t give up, I made to the end! This is really what counts, right? I am ready to start again, but not sure I will do the 90 days for now.

  25. I just finished this morning…October 2nd…at 9:48!! What a feeling! I feel just like Jess…wanting to tell everyone I come in contact with today…and I just might do it!!
I can’t begin to express my thanks to you, Amy, for your constant prayers and encouragement. I am so very thankful and blessed to have taken on this challenge and to actually finish…on time!!
    WOO HOO!

  26. I already emailed you. Thanks for the encouragement to finish on time. It did renew my focus and I sit amazed that I am done!

    Amy
