Official Bible in 90 Days Sign-up: July 2011 Session

Bible in 90 Days on MomsToolbox

Have you ever wanted to read the entire Bible?

Now is your chance to do it and get encouragement all along the way.

You are invited to join hundreds of other readers in the MomsToolbox community as we make our way through the entire Bible, cover to cover, just like a novel, in just 90 days. The reading begins July 11, and ends October 8.

Yes, you CAN do this. I’m going to be honest with you, though:  It’s not easy, but it is simple.

If you want to read with the MomsToolbox community, here is what you need to do:

Follow this link to the official Bible in 90 Days signup and fill out all of the information. (It’s better if you submit the information using a computer rather than a mobile phone. Often Google docs won’t submit from a phone.)

You will then be placed in an accountability group. The first 900 to sign up will also be assigned a mentor for encouragement through the 90 days.

Download the Bible in 90 Days reading schedule here, print a copy and stick it in your Bible to keep you on track. Each day of the program, I will also post the next day’s reading assignment each evening on MomsToolbox.

Make plans to read for about an hour to an hour and a half each day from July 11, through October 8. Start praying about how you can clear that time from your schedule each day.

I highly recommend you buy the official Bible in 90 Days Bible. It is an NIV without a lot of footnotes to distract you. The type is large, yet the Bible is small and unassuming-looking. Plus, the pages have start and end markers for each day. (This is not an affiliate link. I will not profit in any way if you purchase this Bible.)

To stay in the program, you must check in every Monday on MomsToolbox  by leaving a comment as to your reading status on your group’s check in page. (You can find the link to check in every Monday on MomsToolbox.) You do not have to be up to date every week, but you do have to leave a comment as to where you are in the reading.

Additionally, you may choose to communicate with other Bible in 90 Days readers on Twitter using the #B90Days hashtag. Many readers tweet their progress and encouragement there. Every Monday night of the program, beginning July 11, B90Days readers will meet on Twitter between 8-9 CST for our weekly Twitter party Bible study. We’ll compare notes from the reading and encourage each other there, too.

Want to know more? Click to read more information about the Bible in 90 Days program on MomsToolbox. Also, keep reading MomsToolbox in the days leading up to the challenge. I’ll share stories of others who have read the Bible in 90 Days and they will share their tips for success.

Who can benefit from this program?

The MomsToolbox version of Bible in 90 Days is based, with permission, on the highly successful program outlined by the Bible in 90 Days Ministry.

The Bible in 90 Days program is designed for anyone who wants to read the entire Bible.

It is not a study of the Bible, instead it is a read through. You will not become a Biblical expert after the 90 days are up, but if you stick with the schedule, you will definitely hear God speaking to you and you will have read the entire Bible.

This program is for anyone who is interested in reading the entire Bible, whether you have been studying the Bible for years or have never read a page. It is for those who have been churched regularly, churched sometimes and those who have never been to church.

If you want to read the entire Bible, now is your chance to really do it. What’s holding you back? Take the plunge and read with us. Stick with it and you won’t regret it.  Sign up for the July session of Bible in 90 Days here.

  1. I don’t know if I signed up or not. I have decided to do this. I started 2 days late and am still 2 days behind. I am beginning to blog about my journey. I am truly excited! I’d love to be a part of a group. Is it too late for that?

I am current on my readings and really look forward to it every morning. I still have not received a group het (hope it wasn’t in spam folder). Could you please send me the info for my group? Thanks and have a blessed day!

I just signed up but I’m almost caught up, about to start day 3 of reading!

I signed up yesterday and accomplished the reading for Day One; I do not have a mentor or group number however. Thanks!

  5. I would like to do this, but am in the midst of moving & will be without computer access when we finally get on the road. Will you be offering this again in the fall?

  6. Just signed up today. Looking forward to reading through the Bible in 90 days. Does anyone know how/when we are placed in a group? ~ Ellen

  7. I am a teacher, I started this the last day of school May 25 and Lord willing, I am on track to finish before the first day Aug 22.

As a retired teacher, I know there were many, many days that I prayed for my students and myself from the time I got in the car, all the way to the parking lot at school. Interesting that you ended one year and started another…w/ divine guidance! Hope you’ve had a great summer and will have a great class this fall.

  8. Just signed up. Looking forward to this

  9. Signed up today! I am excited about it and a little nervous because I tried last year and didn’t make it. :( Hope to be a graduate this October! :)

  10. I signed up right away on the first or second day and was wondering when I find out what accountability group I’m in or who my mentor is. I requested Sam Kelley. Just curious and so excited to get started reading on Monday!!!

  11. After two tries at this in the past year, I’m really scared about “committing” to it again. I may just read along (and do daily SOAPs) without signing up for a mentor… is that ok? I *really* want to finish. I just don’t want to take away from someone that may want/need the mentor as well.

So glad you continue to do this… especially for those of us that can’t seem to get it right the first (or second) time!

  12. I have just signed up to participate! I’m SO excited. I plan on blogging through this journey as well. This will help keep me accountable to myself. Are there any other bloggers out there who are going to blog everyday about their reading? I’m going to plan on using your S.O.A.P method.

  13. I signed up and haven’t gotten a group assignment yet. Should I be concerned?

  14. I signed up and am looking forward to it!

I just joined up too! Looking forward to this and getting to know God in a more personal relationship.

  16. I signed up and printed the reading schedule. Should I have received a confirmation email? How do I find out what group I’m in and where to report on Mondays?

  17. The Father directed me here just in time! I’ve just found your blog today and have signed up for the 90 challenge. What a blessing to me this is going to be. Thank you!

  18. I’ve already signed up but have a question. My almost 14yo dd is interested and wondered if it would be possible to be partnered up with another mom’s dd for accountability and encouragement.

  19. I’ve committed and have asked others to join me. I posted about it on my blog! Looking forward to the challenge!

  20. Hello! This is my first visit to your blog, though I’ve seen your image for the Bible in 90 Days on other sites. I came to you after reading Rebecca’s post at “Mom’s Mustard Seeds”. Frankly, I am scared to death to do this! I am a novice to the Bible, but I’ve quickly discovered how much I love the OT and am encouraged and comforted by the NT. Can I really do this?! Before I talk myself out of it, I am signing up. I look forward to returning often to your site!

  21. I am so excited to begin! I am going to read it with my children. Someone said earlier that you do a children’s reading? When do you do that??

  22. Very excited to do this… I tried a Bible in 90 days program last year and only got to about day 45..

  23. I really want to do this, but I’m Catholic so I use a longer Bible {we have more books}. Has anyone who is Catholic done this and added in the extra books? Where did you add them? Is there a plan that accommodates the Catholic Bible?

I know I could go buy a different Bible, but then I wouldn’t feel like I was reading the whole thing as I know it…if that makes sense.

  24. Oh and I also realize this is a site for moms, and I am not a mom. Not sure if that matters?

  25. I’m interested in joining in on this. My only concern is the Monday check it. As I work a very long 12 hour day on Mondays, I can do my reading on my break but am little concerned with making sure I can check in after work on Mondays.

    1. You are definitely welcome to join us, mom or not. :)

And, as for checking in each Monday, check in begins at about midnight CST Sunday night/ Monday morning and stays open beyond midnight Monday night/ Tuesday morning.

All you need to do to check in each Monday is come to MomsToolbox and click on your group within the check in post and then let us know if you are up to date on your reading or not. If you have to miss it, you can send an email to your mentor the next morning. Check in is a very important part of this process.

I’m glad you are considering joining us! Have you filled out the sign up form?

      1. Thank yo so very much, for your quick reply! Having the check in open that late on Monday/Tuesday morning will make is so much easier to incorporate into my schedule without worry. I will be joining in on this adventure :) I will be filling out the sign up form right now. Thank you Amy!

I am so excited about reading through the Bible in 90 days! I purchased the book about 3 years ago – I tried on more than one occasion, but failed to keep up with the schedule. I know it can be done – my sister accomplished it! I’m committeed and ready to only and to succeed this time! I would appreciate a mentor’s support.

  27. I have been praying for something to help me get back on track with my bible reading. Life as Mom just posted about this on Facebook and it was like God knocking on my head saying, “Helloooo, see this?”.

  28. I signed up! And, there is also a Kindle version of this book on Amazon for 6.99!

  29. Still plugging along with the Jan 3 group- starting the New Testament today. Way past April 3 but reading straight through has been such a blessing. I plan to start again with next winter’s session.
My son and I would like to sign up for the children’s survey reading program. He’s 11 and starting middle school. That will give us something nice to begin in the summer and continue through this big change. Please count us in!

  30. I have been waiting since May when I first saw and heard of this program. I signed up yesterday and already have my bible! I tried doing it on my own with the 90 day bible and did great for about 30 days – so I need my mentor! Thank you so much for doing this.

I guess I need to get on Twitter because that sounds so good “Additionally, you may choose to communicate with other Bible in 90 Days readers on Twitter using the #B90Days hashtag. 1. The twitter support is amazing. I can’t recommend it enough. The email support was nice but the encouragement and support on twitter is huge.

  31. I have wanted to to this my whole life – what a great opportunity! I live in the UK at the moment, and am thrilled to be sharing this experience with so many people. Can’t wait to get started…

  32. Is there a KJV version of the 90 day Bible? We are a KJV only family.

I don’t believe there is a KJV 90-Day Bible. I did this a year or so ago and just used my KJV Bible. The only thing is, I just finished the chapters completely instead of stopping say at a certain verse. Just made it easy to keep track, but you will definitely be able to read it all in 90 days. If I can do it with 6 children, most anyone can!

  33. I signed up:)

  34. I’m in and so excited to be apart of this challenge!

    1. I am looking for the same thing. I saw the NIV available for in Kindle version, but nothing for KJV. I know you can just download the schedule and read the Bible of your choice.

  35. I’ve been reading the bible everyday wanting to have it read in one year but this sounds like an awesome way to read it. So I signed up. Looking forward to getting started…

  36. I’m excited to be a part of this!

  37. I just signed up for the first time and am so excited!

  41. Excited to give it another shot – hopefully with a strong mentor on my side!

  42. I’m so excited to start this! I almost bought a 90 Bible book, but didn’t. What would be the pros and cons of getting one? I can’t wait to start this! :)

    1. I cannot recommend enough that you go ahead and spend the $14 to buy the Bible in 90 Days Bible.
This post goes into more details as to why it is the best Bible to use for this: http://www.momstoolbox.com/blog/2009/12/18/reading-the-bible-in-90-days-how-to-do-it/

      1. I already own an NIV Bible. Will this be sufficient or do you still recommend the Bible in 90 Days version?
        Thanks!
