  1. The giveaway has closed and the winners will be contacted in just a few minutes. Thanks, everyone, for all your wonderful comments! I am so thrilled and honored that each of you is reading the entire Bible along with me! :)

  2. I’m doing the challenge chronologically because I was hoping it wouldn’t be as confusing as reading it cover to cover.

  3. That is great of them to donate the bibles for a giveaway. I’m currently in Pamela’s group and was having a hard time keeping up, so I had planned to go out today to pick up a copy of this bible to get started reading. I read the bible straight through once before, but I thought it would be time for me to read through it chronologically to get a better idea of when things happened.

I’m not reading chronologically this time, but I’m thinking about it for later. I’d love to read the bible chronologically some day.

I am in Dawn D. group. I am reading chronologically this time to see how everything weaves together. I am excited about reading for the whole picture. However, it does consume time to be flipping back and forth and would be a blessing to use a chronological Bible.
    God Bless

  6. I am in Trish’s group. I haven’t read the Bible completely through yet. I have the 90 day Bible and began reading it through last year but never completed. I chose the chronological plan because I am fascinated with seeing the whole picture. However, I wasn’t as prepared as I thought I was in flipping back and forth. So I am currently behind and hoping to be able to catch up today. Winning one of these Bibles would be a huge blessing and encouragement for me to follow through.

  7. Group: Pamela Shamblin, found momstoolbox through thehappyhousewife. Fourth time doing the Bible in 90, first time in a group, and felt led to do the chronological this time. Flipping back and forth is proving to be confusing, frustrating, and discouraging though…winning this Bible would be a great blessing to me!!

  8. I am reading The Bible in 90 Days chronologically because I want to have a great foundation for teaching history to my children
    I am in Group 1

  9. i’m in group 26 Pamela is my mentor. :) i’m so excited for this journey… this group seems to have exactly the amount of accountablity i need. Not to mention encouragement.

  10. Man, too bad I am not in one of these groups! I am on Day 84 of reading the Bible in 90 days and have thought several times how awesome it would be to read it in 90 days chronologically! Awesome that y’all are doing that.

  11. I’m in Group 13 and my mentor is Trish. My name is Faith. I’ve been a Christian since age 5, my father was a preacher, I memorized scripture with Bible Memory Association from age 8 to age 20, and I went to a Christian boarding high school. I also spent two summers as a missionary with United Indian Missions. And I STILL don’t understand what happened when in the Bible. This opportunity to read chronologically and be held accountable is truly sent by God.

  12. My mentor’s name is Linda. I am reading chronologically since I’ve done it the “regular” way and want to see what happens in which order.

I signed up initially because my daughter has told me about it in years past and is a mentor. I chose to read it chronologically but it seems to make more sense and is more exciting.

I’m reading the bible chronologically because I think it will make more sense reading it that way. I have tried many times before to read the whole bible and have never made it. Hopefully this time I will be successful. My mentors name is Trish. Thanks.

  17. I’m in group 15 mentored by Linda. I chose to read the Bible chronologically because it was a different way to read through and I figured it would keep me challenged enough to keep reading. Thanks!

My Kids are homeschooled (senior and freshman). My oldest was able to chose whatever she wanted to study this year, and she chose Church History. My youngest is studying ancient history (using the Bible as his core text), so I decided to read the Bible chronologically to help encourage my kids in their own studies and to show them that some things really are worth the time! My mentor is Karen.

HI. I am group in 34 with Dani. I heard about Reading through the Bible. In 90 days from a fellow MOPS mom. I decided to do it chronologically because I believe it isn’t just.the Word of God but actually our history too. I find that knowing things in their correct order really helps put things in perspective. I read a lot and it just.helps to have things flow and make sense time-wise. I find that having assigned readings and being accountable really is keeping me focused. Thanks!

Hi I’m Tamica Reynolds and my mentors name is Jennifer Dawn McLucas. I chose to read the Chronological plan because I know it will keep me focused. Being honest just reading from cover to cover can be so confusing and you have to turn back to try to remember what happened in another book of the bible and what was said that is connected to your current verse and who begot who…lol. Now that I am reading this plan my 16 yr. old son is doing it too (all 3 of my children are homeschooled and do daily devotions every morning). Me and my husband had a HUGE discussion last night of all the questions I had about what I never noticed before . This helps you to focus and motivates you to read it as you would any book (but we know that the truth that’s in the Bible and your relationship with God will be changed because you will know for yourself). I am excited with this reading plan and will pass it on to others (especially new believers). Everything comes together and has a purpose.

  21. My mentor is Eileen Lealock. This bible would help me understand the Bible in a more organized manner. Having a mentor and a group should make this challenge all the more rewarding!

I am reading through with my family, but would prefer a chronological reading of the Bible so my 4 home schooled children can see how the message of the Bible flows in sequence. Sometimes kids get confused about what happens when. We are our own group. That’s all-thanks for the opportunity!

  23. Hi! I am in group 15 which is my mentor Linda Perry’s group. I chose to read the Bible chronologically because I truly want to learn the history of the lineage everyone that is spoken of in the Bible. We are all apart of these lineages because these are where the generations began. We are all apart of Him so learning about His miracles, blessings, and correction is a privilege in my walk to get to know the fullness of His love for us. It would make reading a WHOLE lot easier but if I don’t get chosen as a winner flipping back and forth would not deter me from getting to know how great He really is! I want to hear His voice speaking to me through His word.
