Filling, easy breakfast for only 7 Weight Watchers Points Plus

Tomorrow I go in for my second-week check on Weight Watchers. I rejoined almost three weeks ago and, since going back, I have felt great about my decision. I am finally taking control of something that was beginning to spiral out of control.

The first time I joined Weight Watchers I lost 30 pounds, had a baby and still got back to my goal weight pretty quickly following the plan.

And then I started cycling like crazy and stopped tracking and, for the past four years, I’ve been a bit unhappy about it.

Now I am finally taking control again.

Over the past two weeks I have had this cereal for breakfast more days than I care to admit. It has been  perfect way to start my day and has filled me up. The honey, whole milk, nuts and fruit make it feel more indulgent than it is.

On Sunday I used skim milk instead of the whole milk (we were out of it) and it made a big difference. Go ahead and go for the whole milk if you have it. You’ll thank me.

How to make it:

Boil 6 oz. water and dash of salt.

Add hot cereal mix, lower heat and cover. Simmer for 10 minutes.

Pour into bowl and add milk, almonds, fruit and honey.

Feel satisfied for several hours!

I am on the fence about joining WW. I know what to do to eat healthier but I need support. I have said a prayer for you and Dawn. I just found your blog and it is GREAT!

  2. I am not doing WW but I am just starting a new healthier lifestyle (not a diet *wink* – just started yesterday. Will be praying for you – would appreciate you praying for me too.

    1. You’re on! just said a prayer for you. :)
