If you are reading the Proverbs in 31 Days with us, our reading for today (Wednesday) is Proverbs 30.

Scripture: Proverbs 30:5

Every word of God is flawless;

he is a shield to those who take refuge in him.

Observation:

All that God says is true and this truth will protect you if you seek protection in Him.

Application:

His truth will protect me if I turn to it. This piggybacks so beautifully with what I heard yesterday about fearing what others might think.

If I just take His words, follow Him and go to Him for guidance and protection, (and not let other’s worry me or remove my focus) He will offer guidance and protection.

Prayer:

Thank you, Lord for you sharing your beautiful, flawless Word with me, and also with anyone else who wants to partake in it. Thank you also, for this promise of ultimate protection.

Sure, protection might look different to me than you, but you WILL offer protection in your Word. Please, Lord, guide me in continuing to seek your Word, and please guide me in applying it completely to my life.

I also focused on these verses today. I felt God telling me that I have some worries that I have not placed before Him. I need to go to Him with everything and stop trying to take some things on all by myself. God knows everything and wants me to rely on His wisdom.
