Scripture: Psalm 147:3
He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds.
Observation: God cares for us and doesn’t want us to lose hope. He will heal our emotional scars. He does not want us to be filled with hurt and pain.
Application: God cares for us completely. Not only will he provide the physical things we need, but he will provide for our emotional well-being as well. Wow. Emotional health is important to God, too. He doesn’t want us to ‘tough it out.’ He wants us to go to him for healing.
Prayer: Thank you, Lord for your concern for all of me… and for everyone. There is so much hurt out there. And it feels like it is growing. Please, heal those hurts. Comfort those who are struggling. Strengthen those who need it in ways only you can. And show us how to glorify you for all this healing.
