Houston restaurants join forces with the Thread Alliance to raise money to prevent child abuse

April is Child Abuse Prevention Month and more than 30 Houston restaurants are helping to raise awareness of child abuse and raise funds to end it via “Blue Plate Special” offerings. A portion from the purchase of each Blue Plate Special this month will go to the Thread Alliance.

The Thread Alliance is dedicated to ending child abuse and provides a central registry of local, state, and national resources for children, parents and caregivers. The Thread Alliance was founded by Sheila Aron, author of I’m Glad I’m Me.

So, as you dine out this month in Houston, be sure to ask for the Blue Plate Special and help the Thread Alliance end child abuse.

The following restaurants will be participating in The Thread Alliance’s 3rd Annual Blue Plate Special:
