How can I shine His light today? Romans 13:8-14

Today’s reading: Romans 13: 8-14

Here’s what I heard…

Scripture: Romans 13: 8

Let no debt remain outstanding, except continuing the debt to love one another, for he who loves his fellowman has fulfilled the law.

Observation:

Take care of business and do all you are instructed to do. You will never love each other enough, though, so continue to love, love, love all.

Observation:

We are called to love each other and really, really mean it. Everything in the Bible points to this.

Prayer:

Lord, thank you for loving me, and for loving each and every one of us, even through our annoying faults, and our big and little mistakes. Forgive me the times I do not show love, but instead chose to be selfish. Guide me in being a better light for your love.

Today I hope to think about how I can be a better light for His love. I’m going to take on more of the Operation Intentional #Kindness assignments and also just think about ways I can show love.

If you are reading and can take a minute to comment, please share one way you can show love today, tomorrow or next week. Your comments will inspire me, as well as the others reading and together we can be His light. Thanks.

  1. Be a good listener. Whomever is talking to you, look them in the eye, give them your full attention. Let them speak without your interrupting them with tales in your own life. Listen to them as the Lord listens to us.
