Is your check in comment missing?

Yesterday I made the switch to use Disqus for our commenting system on MomsToolbox.

In making the switch, all of the comments had to be exported, processed and sent back to MomsToolbox.

The processing has hit more speedbumps than I expected and, unfortunately, many of the check in comments from Monday are not showing up on the group check in pages.

If you commented and your comment is not there, I am very, very sorry. The comments should come up eventually, but there is also a small chance that they will not.

I do have email documentation for the comments, so I can see who did check in, but all of your kind introductory comments may or may not be published. I am waiting hopefully and have contacted technical support.

If you would like to, feel free to leave another comment, but do not feel obligated to do so.

Once the dust settles and everything is in place, I do believe that Disqus ultimately will be more user friendly for all of us. In using Disqus it is very easy to subscribe to comments so that you can be notified anytime someone in your group leaves a comment. (Just click the orange copy at the bottom that says subscribe by email and follow the instructions there.) The conversations in the comments section are also easier to follow and you can link up your Twitter or Facebook information if you would like.

Please hang in there as we make it past these initial bumps. I promise that I am doing the best that I can for you and regret not trying this out much sooner.

Thank you for your patience.

Was I supposed to be assigned to a group and a mentor when I signed up? I signed up on the day this started–I’ve read Days 1 through 3 and always enjoy Genesis, especially when Jacob wrestles with God–his “born again” moment, complete with a new name to represent his new life! I love that he than began to talk about God as being *his*, not just “the God of my father.”

Read day 2… I loved when God changed Andaman’s name to Abraham, it better suits him. And the fact that God blessed both Abraham and Sarah with a child at their ripe old ages. And actually, their ages during that time weren’t that old considering that people were living well into 200+ years old! I love fading God’s “Love Story”.
