Scripture:
Luke 18:1
Then Jesus told his disciples a parable to show them that they should always pray and not give up.
Luke 18:7
And will not God bring about justice for his chosen ones, who cry out to him day and night? Will he keep putting them off?
Observation: God wants us to continue praying, presenting our requests to him.
Application: God doesn’t want me to worry about bothering him with already-asked requests. He wants me to keep praying, keep asking, keep leaning on him and letting my requests be known. He wants to me to keep communicating my needs and wants with him until I hear an answer.
Hmm. I have wondered about this for several years. And I have read every single word of the Bible, cover to cover, several times in addition to studies. It’s amazing to me how God reveals just what he wants you to know when he wants you to know it. Perhaps I needed to focus on other things before. But now he has spoken loud and clear: Keep those prayers coming! Don’t stop because you have asked just a few times. Alrighty then. I’m ready to pray and pray and pray!
Prayer: Lord, thank you for answering this prayer request and teaching me how you would like for me to pray to you. Get ready… Here I come!
